Job Summary

Sarela Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking a Cloud Migration Manager to provide O365 SharePoint Online support for an exciting new loud Service Offering contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS).


This is a hybrid position that requires the candidate to be on-site at least twice per week at our customer's Chantilly, Va or Durham, NC locations.


As a Cloud Migration Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing lab and production tests for Enterprise IT services. 


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and executing project plans to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

  • Work alone or lead a team of consultants and/or customer resources, building relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.

  • Coordinate with the Customer for the Post Migration issues during the Migration phase.

  • Accomplish Cloud Data Migrations with the customer and provide appropriate status updates to the relevant stakeholders upon closure.

  • Developing required strategies and related objectives by aligning the agency’s IT infrastructure with business and engineering priorities.

  • Organize and manage all phases of migrations to ensure on time, scope and within budget.

  • Participate in initiatives in planning, developing and executing business process re-engineering activities and creates sustainable, strong and repeatable processes integrated into day-to-day operations.

  • Act as a technical principal in the delivery and reporting of migration services to organizational end-users.

  • Onboarding of users through the enablement and provisioning phases of the migration.

  • Management and setup of Microsoft migration environments.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization (Engineering, field, support personnel).

  • Provide support as technical SME to assist with identifying and developing new customer opportunities. As such, answer questions, consult, and/or develop presentations for potential customers.

  • Analyze customer requirements and business demands to assess design/technology alternatives and propose solutions.

  • Determine skills mix, develop BOEs, BOMs, services and materials to deliver cost effective solutions. Document and review project work statements.

  • Present and/or facilitate technical discussions with technical SMEs as well as customers and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with vendors and assist with the definition and coordination of demonstrations and proof of concept projects to advance the sales process

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or similar)

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field

  • 8+ years of Migration experience to include 3+ years of Cloud Service experience; additional experience / certifications may be considered in place of education

  • Expertise with Cloud, Azure, O365 migration principles, methods, and techniques as well as knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment

  • Experience with MS Office 365 Migration Planning and Execution

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

  • Able to travel 5-10% to VA/MD/DC area
